The May, 2008 CNCH (Conference of Northern California Handweavers) with the theme "The California Trail" celebrating the discovery of gold had a special exhibit called "Trailblazers". Trish Lange was invited as one of those who has made a significant contribution to the craft of weaving, an artist who has taught, encouraged, shared, and inspired others through the years with her generosity, talent, and vision. She also won a gold ribbon for "RETRO 60's" in the Fashion Show.

FIDM recently presented an exhibit featuring the work of six California wearable artists entitled "Intuitive Threads: Wearable Art." The artists came to FIDM to speak about their work and present their unique materials, techniques, and inspirations.
